+ What is your style?
Photojournalistic. Your wedding day is a significant moment in your family’s history, and I intend to capture it in a natural, spontaneous way that, years from now, will allow you to remember all the emotions and memories.
+ Where do you primarily work?
I am based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but I love to travel and will work anywhere!
+ How will you approach my wedding day?
I believe in being well-dressed (bow ties are cool!), friendly, and most importantly, invisible to you. I capture all the best moments, big and small, as the day unfolds, but doing my job right also involves you and your guests barely realizing that I’m present.
+ Will my images look like everything was photographed in the middle of the afternoon?
Not unless you get married in the middle of the afternoon! Artificially bright lighting in photos would do a disservice to all the time and effort you put into the day’s details, from the venue to your decorations and uplighting. I do everything in my ability to capture the natural light and shadow of each moment.
+ How many images do you deliver for a typical wedding?
If you choose a package that includes digital files, you can expect approximately 900+ images. I put no set number on the amount I release because there are many varying factors (such as length of day, number of photographers, etc.) that affect it.
+ Should we meet in person before we book?
I highly recommend meeting all couples before the wedding day. If you live far away, or just have an odd schedule, Skype or Facetime are great ways to interact.
+ My parents want formals, but I want more casual images — can you do both?
No worries, both styles are equally important for me to capture! We will figure out the best time to take family formals, and then we’ll do a session with and/or without your bridal party. These sessions are very efficient, and I get you back to your wedding as quickly as possible.
+ Do you have insurance?
Absolutely, and I can provide proof for any venue that requires it.
+ Do you include a wedding album?
Yes. I'm a strong believer that all pictures should be printed.
There is no better feeling than holding your wedding album 5, 10, 25, and 50 years from now and remembering your wedding day
+ Do I get an online gallery?
Of Course! Every couple gets an online gallery that can be shared with family and friends.
+ Do you have an assistant/second photographer with you?
I have an assistant with me at almost every wedding who helps me manage my equipment, timeline, and overall flow of the day.
+ How many photographers are included in your wedding packages?
Two photographers are included in all my wedding packages. The only time I will photograph a wedding by myself is if we build a custom wedding package where it is appropiate for a single photographer
One of my many passions in life is traveling, and when I can blend travel and photography together, I am happier than you can even imagine. Depending on distance, I will figure out any travel expenses (transportation, lodging, etc.), and add them into your booking cost after a discussion with you.
